I booked the Beetle convertible for our daughter’s wedding. Clive kept in touch with us during the run up to the day. Despite issues with flooding on some roads in the area, everything was on time and went well. The car was immaculate. Fortunately the rain held off but the roof folds out in no time!
I can thoroughly recommend the car and service.

5.0* I contacted Clive back in February of 23, from the get go he was fantastic. Clive taking into consideration of the current financial climate un-prompted reduced his deposit fee in half and allowed me to make regular small monthly payments to help spread out the cost if his services to which we were grateful with the mounting costs of planning a wedding. Clive was very responsive to emails replying within 24 hours and often within a few hours this gave us great peace of mind. Making payments were easy and each time a payment was made a revised invoice was emailed over clearly stating any remaining costs. A few days prior to the wedding, Clive contacted me to inform me of timings again and intended weather forecasts for the day. On the day of the wedding Clive arrived early and stated there was no rush and to come out when ready. Clive was smartly dressed and his car was spotless. Clive helped me in and out of the car making sure my dress was all tucked in and that i was comfortable. Clive went above and beyond my expectations making sure my train was perfect before i walked down the aisle and even taking some photo’s for ourselves as well. He then drove us on our champagne tour (included in the price) and got us to our reception venue on time according to what we had discussed. Clive again took a few more photos alongside our photographer before leaving us to the rest of our day. Clive was exceptionally professional and made polite conversation. We would both highly recommend Clive as your wedding chauffeur nothing was too much and for the services he provided it was money very well spent.

Clive is such a gent. He made sure I didn’t get wet on our wedding day. He made sure I got out the car with no issues at all. Not a spot of rain on me. If you want a reliable man to get you to your wedding choose Clive. Our day started perfect. Clive was on time, super friendly, the car was beautiful, he took my handbag back to the car so I didn’t have to carry it at the registry office, nothing was any trouble, great communication throughout, champagne on the way to the venue. It was just perfect. He even went out of his way to tell some guests that arrived late to go straight into the Cedar room as they were waiting outside.

I actually can’t rate this high enough. Clive and his Son absolutely made our day. They were professional and they made us feel so very special. They helped to calm nerves, brilliant at fixing button holes, thanks Clive 😊. Anticipated every move, right down to the very much needed sip of water before I entered the Registry Office. The cars were beautiful and we felt so privileged to be photographed in the cars with our immediate family. Definitely recommend for any special occasion.

Clive was very well organised and responsive leading up to the day. He arrived within good time on the day and was very well presented, with the car itself in immaculate condition. He was very polite and professional and drove very safely. He stayed during the ceremony and whilst we took photos afterwards and was happy for us to take photos with and in the car. He also took some lovely photos himself and sent them to us afterwards and congratulated us again. The champagne drive with my new husband afterwards was absolutely perfect too, I am so glad that we went with this option. If I had to do it all again, I wouldn’t change a thing. Thank you Clive!

We booked Leicester Wedding Cars as a surprise for our son and our now daughter in law mainly it was the Jaguar XJ we wanted, although out of our area they agreed to our request, The arrangements were straight forward and the company made some lovely suggestions for the day, On the day we had the nicest gentleman, Clive attended and did everything he said he would and he was an added bonus who helped the day become even more special. I rarely write reviews, however in this case I’m making an exception as Clive and Rodger from Leicester Wedding Cars were utterly exceptional in the service that they provided for our daughter’s wedding this Saturday. They set out to make your day from their perspective as special as possible. Responsive in planning the arrangements, flexible when there were a few last minutes changes to the timetable, arrived on time (early in fact), cars were immaculate and they displayed professionalism alongside gentle humour that made it special for my daughter and myself (the Father of the Bride) on the way to church and then for the happy couple as the drove on to the reception. Absolutely brilliant. The Chauffeur eased my nerves and made sure the air con was enough for me as it was a boiling hot day. He knew exactly what he was doing. After the wedding he waited for photos to be done he noticed that my photographer never took any photos of me and my husband with the car so he took them for us and emailed them to me

We booked Clive and his VW Beetle for our wedding in August, and he was brilliant from start to finish. The communication before the day was great and made me feel that I was in safe hands. On the day, Clive arrived in plenty of time and took some pictures before my Dad and I got in the car. The car itself is lovely!
As we approached the venue, Clive stopped to put the roof down so that we could make quite the entrance.
My only regret is not being able to thank Clive before he left as I became so wrapped up in what was happening!
I highly recommend Clive and Leicester Wedding Cars. You won’t regret choosing them!

We hired the Jaguar and People carrier for our big day. The drivers turned up well before the proposed time and nothing was too much trouble for them. They were very friendly and professional. The weather was against us on our day but the drivers were there to take us one by one to the cars with umbrellas, even at the venue once our interviews were done they drove us over to the ceremony venue rather than leaving us to walk in the rain. Amazing service and amazing value. Thank you so much for being a part of our day!
